Before I offer you the link to my (first) personality test, you must gave upon my interpretation of … my (tied for #1) favorite philosopher; Ludwig Wittgenstein:
Thanks to the software over at okquizzie.com, I’ve been able to begin to experiment with personality tests.
The old, standard personality tests … like the MB (myers-briggs), or even the ENNEAGRAM, are great for getting a grip on what motivates you. They even have some scientific validity.
My tests, though, tend to aim at more subjective variables; often more esoteric.
Each question in this quiz is, in actuality, a statement or assertion made by a prominent philosopher. Here’s the link:

Some of the philosophical minds I chose from include, from left to right:
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Bertand Russell, Nietszche … and others.
The quotes above don’t really go deep into a differentation of their viewpoints. Suffice it to say, there is/was some overlap between their perspectives … but, essentially, all philosopher’s (the great one’s) were polemics.
Thus, they often made it a point to disagree.
A favorite quote of mine, as I recall it off the top of my head … was from Rousseau:
“To turn a Philosopher into a religious man, one need only put him in a room full of atheists.”
-Michael
I scored highest for philosopher 45 and then 40 for
scientist. I am amazed, since the concepts are
so abstract, that this is a highly accurate picture of
me as I would view myself! I am impressed with
the novelty and deeply thought out questions in this test.
